First of all — my new E-Portfolio has a page on WordPress

All that’s on that blog is a link to the REAL E-Portfolio for Michael Evans
I started doing the thing using WordPress, and learned a lot, but finally chose to just utilize my current hosting service, and maintain the E-Portfolio with tools that make a more graceful appearance, plus don’t require me to be online to tweak it. Strangely enough, I did most of the coding while waiting on the telephone in a customer service queue for _________ (Wouldn’t you like to know !?!)
I’ve announced it on Facebook and Twitter, the latter thanks to wonderful filmmaker Patrice O’Neill.
Program Collection Project: The Festival of Fools 1975 to 1984:
Thanks to a member of the Friends Roadshow, I scanned and posted ALL the programs from the second Festival of Fools in 1976. He woke up from a dream about his old theater company moving in with him at his current home, and saw my first announcement of this series of downloadable PDFs. I told him to check to see if his hot water was used up, and if our old school bus was parked in his driveway — it was probably a visitation from the Fool Spirit!
Right now I have either 2/3 of the programs online, or half of them. The ratio totally depends on how many issues the promoters published in 1979; 1981; 1982; and 1983. My issue from ’82 says “Street Theater,” but there were many indoor events, so it’s likely that two issues exist for that summer.
I had an interesting exchange of emails from an English filmmaker about a group of comedians who performed at the Fool’s Festival. She didn’t know exactly which year(s) they played there, but thanks to the program scans, we found out that they were on the streets in 1982.
I’m still missing the Introductory Program from 1978 — there were four issues that year. There was only one for 1980 (over 50 pages) — I have no clue which model 1979 followed, or if two-issue 1982 was an anomaly or not. 1984, the last year of the festival, has 24 pages, but mentions daily agendas and “a separate booklet with information about the groups in English.”

Because it shows how deep that white stuff is! I’m inside, making Turkey Soup — no bones about it — at least there aren’t any more in the kettle. Quite a strain it was, too!
